how to configure android stb box for iptv

Hi
there is many way to watch iptv via your android box
the most popular one is kodi that's sure
but many other iptv provider uses platinum iptv pluguin to protect their streamer info from hackers 
in this thread i am gonna show you how to prevent your box from going to sleep (sleep mode/standby):

1- for the old version of android : 
just go to : Settings > Applications > Development > Stay awake and select ON
"Screen will never sleep while charging."
2- for newest version 4.2 and higher:
you may have the option to set the screen timeout to "never" under 
Settings > Display > Sleep.

If you do not have this option, you can enable 
Settings > Developer options > Stay awake. 
This will keep your STB awake while it is charging. 
This could be useful if your STB does not support the "never" screen timeout.

Note: If you don't see Developer options in Settings, 
it may be made available by going to
Settings > About > Build number. 
Developer options should appear after tapping the build number several times.
